MULTI-FOLD LINKS, INC. (“MFL”) is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your Personal Data is protected.

I.         APPLICATION

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Personal Data" means any personally identifiable data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data.

We collect Personal Data through, but not limited to, the following means:

  2. When you agree or consent to filling out our forms for project opportunities.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting updated versions on the Website, and/or by sending an email to you.

You have the right to be informed of how and why we collect and process your Personal Data, including where we collected it, with whom we share it and why, how we protect it, how long we keep it, and how we dispose of it, and any changes to our data processing activities before they are implemented.

You have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data when the sole criteria for processing is our legitimate interest.

We, however, reserve the right to seek reasonable fees when providing such data presents certain challenges due to its volume and to restrict access to linked data that may be confidential, proprietary, or belong to other individuals.

d.     Right to Data Portability

You have the right to obtain a copy of your Personal Data or have it transmitted to other entities in a format that is portable and commonly accessible subject to Globe’s internal procedures.

e.     Right to Rectify

We keep our records as accurate as possible. Where there are any errors or inaccuracies to your personal data, we give you ways to dispute and rectify or update it, subject to MFL’s internal procedures. 

f.      Right to Erasure or Blocking

You have the right to suspend, withdraw, or order the blocking, removal, or destruction of inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, false, or unlawfully obtained Personal Data, or Personal Data not necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, and for such other cases provided in the Data Privacy Act of 2012.

g.     Right to Damages

If you feel that your Personal Data has been misused, maliciously disclosed, or improperly disposed by MFL, or that any of your data privacy rights have been violated by MFL, you have a right to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission and/or be indemnified for damages sustained.

V.         THIRD PARTY DISCLOSURE & TRANSFER

We do not disclose or transfer your Personal Data to third parties unless we have clearly asked for and obtained your consent to do so (except where permitted and authorized by law).

The Personal Data which you provide to us are only stored, processed, transferred, and accessed from in the Philippines. 

a.     Disclosure to third party industry partners

We rely on third party industry partners to perform a variety of services on our behalf. In so doing, MFL may let service providers, located both within and outside the Philippines, use your Personal Data for data analysis and for the determination of the set of services based on your needs. Please note that we provide our third party industry partners with only the Personal Data they need to perform their services and we require that they protect such Personal Data in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations and this Privacy Policy.

b.     Other disclosure

We may use and disclose your Personal Data to perform your instructions and, as relevant, (a) comply with legislative and regulatory requirements; (b) protect or defend rights or properties of customers and employees of MFL; and/or (c) take emergency measures for the purpose of securing the safety of our clients, MFL, or the general public.

VI.         SECURITY & PROTECTION

We maintain strict procedures, standards, and security arrangements to protect your Personal Data in our possession or under our control. Upon receipt of your Personal Data, whether through physical or electronic means of collection, we make the necessary organizational, physical, and technical arrangements to protect your Personal Data as are reasonable and appropriate in the circumstances. 

When disclosing or transferring your Personal Data over the internet, we take all reasonable care to prevent unauthorized access to your Personal Data. However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as fully secure and you acknowledge that you submit information over the internet at your own risk.

VII.         RETENTION AND DISPOSAL OF PERSONAL DATA

We keep your Personal Data only for as long as the purpose for why it was collected expires. However, it may be necessary for us to keep your Personal Data for a longer period for legitimate business or legal purposes such as security, fraud prevention, or financial record-keeping.

We have also established procedures to securely dispose of files that contain your Personal Data, whether in digital or physical form (e.g. shredding, erasure software, etc.).
